This is a precise 3D-printed reproduction of the marble portrait head of Alexander the Great, based on the Hellenistic sculpture held in the British Museum collection. The original work, dated approximately 300–150 BC (or the 2nd–1st century BC) and believed to originate from Alexandria, depicts the ruler as a youthful, idealized figure rather than a mature warrior. It features a clean-shaven face, flowing hair, an upward gaze, and a diadem band, reflecting the conventions of Hellenistic ruler portraiture established after Alexander’s death in 323 BC.
The replica accurately reproduces the original’s proportions, surface modelling, hair detail, and diadem.
Available materials:
– White nylon: Polished finish providing a smooth surface. This is the most economical option.
– Black nylon: Post-printing treatment applied before the Color Touch finish, resulting in resistance to external conditions, scratching and rubbing. Colour remains stable and consistent across production batches, with a uniform surface of high quality.
Size: 10 cm (3,93 in.) tall.
Objects exceeding the size limits of the production process for any of the above materials are manufactured at a reduced scale relative to the original. In certain cases hollowing is applied to lower material cost.
