3D-Printed Replica: Head of the Buddha (Khmer, Bayon Style)
This is a 3D-printed replica of a sandstone Head of the Buddha originating from Cambodia, dated to the 12th–13th century and associated with the Bayon style of the Khmer Empire. The original sculpture exhibits the characteristic features of the period: closed eyes, a faint smile, elongated earlobes, and hair rendered as a tight-fitting cap surmounted by a lotus-shaped bun. The replica is produced from a digital model of the original object.
Available materials and finishes:
– White nylon: Polished surface. Polishing produces a smoother tactile finish and represents the most economical production option.
– Black nylon: Subjected to a post-printing treatment prior to the application of the Color Touch finish. The resulting parts exhibit resistance to external conditions, scratching, and rubbing. Color remains stable and consistent across production batches. The surface presents a uniform color of high quality.
Dimensions for nylon versions: 6.4 × 9 cm (2.5 × 3.5 in).
Objects exceeding the dimensional limits of the production process in any of the listed materials are manufactured at a reduced scale relative to the original.
