This 3D-printed replica reproduces the marble omphalos from Delphi, one of the most important symbols of ancient Greek religion. The omphalos, or “navel,” marked Delphi as the center of the world and was closely connected to the sanctuary of Apollo and the authority of his oracle. The ancient marble object preserved today is generally understood as a copy of an earlier sacred stone once associated with the temple’s inner cult setting. Its rounded form and carved surface pattern made it a powerful sign of sacred centrality, divine order, and religious identity.
This replica preserves the distinctive shape and symbolic character of the Delphic omphalos in a material form suitable for display, study, or collecting.
Available materials
- White Nylon
Polished for a smoother surface. This is the most economical option. - Black Nylon
Finished with a Color Touch treatment after post-processing. This gives the object a uniform black surface with good resistance to scratching and rubbing, as well as stable and consistent colour across production batches. - Bronze
Produced through a casting process based on a highly accurate 3D-printed wax master. Gives the replica an elegant metal finish. - Gold-Plated Brass
Produced through the same casting process. Offers a refined metallic appearance with a warm finish. - White Rhodium-Plated Brass
Also produced through casting from a precise 3D-printed master. Provides a bright, elegant metallic finish.
Please note that objects too large for the production process in a given material are made at a reduced scale in relation to the original. In some cases, hollowing is also added in order to reduce the final price.
