3D-Printed Replica of a Head of Hermes from a Herm
This is a precise three-dimensional reproduction of an Early Roman marble head of Hermes, originally part of a herm. The model captures the characteristic bearded face, with tightly curled hair framing the forehead and a full, carefully worked beard. The sculpture reproduces the calm, frontal expression and the simplified architectural form of the original herm head.
White nylon and black nylon versions are produced by selective laser sintering and finished with a post-printing treatment that improves surface resistance to scratching and external conditions. The nylon surfaces present a uniform colour and consistent finish across production batches.
The nylon versions measure 6.4 × 9 cm (approximately 2.5 × 3.5 inches).
In certain cases hollowing is introduced during production in order to lower the final price.
All versions are intended as decorative or educational replicas and are not archaeological artifacts.
