Commissioned exhibitionsFor Museums
A virtual exhibition built around your objects, your story and your visual identity — curated, written and produced by us.
Your collection, our craft
Every exhibition on The Virtual Museum is researched, written and designed by our own team. A commission uses the same approach, but the brief is yours: which objects, which story, which audience, and how it should look.
The result is a finished exhibition you can share with your visitors, your members or your students.

Shaped by your preferences
Choose what matters to you. We handle the rest.
Your objects or your theme
Build the exhibition from your own collection, or let us curate a theme from objects that can be shown in 3D. If your objects have not been digitised, we can arrange 3D scanning.
Your design and branding
Your colours, typography and logo, so the exhibition feels like part of your institution.
Web and mobile
Your exhibition can be made for the web and also as a mobile version, with museum-quality texts written for your audience.
Optional replicas
Selected objects can be offered as 3D-printed replicas, made to order from the scan. About 3D Replication
From brief to opening
You stay involved at every stage.
Brief
We talk about your objects, your audience and the look you want, and arrange 3D scanning if needed.
Curate & design
We select, research and write, and design the exhibition in your identity. You review before anything is published.
Open
Your exhibition goes live, ready to share with your visitors.
The standard we work to
A few exhibitions we have produced ourselves.
What we need from you
Nothing technical. A short brief is enough to begin.
- Your objects or theme — a list, a selection or simply an idea.
- Images or 3D scans if you have them. If not, we can scan the objects for you.
- Your brand guidelines — logo, colours and fonts.
- Audience and purpose — who it is for and where it will be shared.
- Pricing — quoted per project, depending on things like the size of the objects and where in the world they are.
Have an exhibition in mind?
Tell us a little about it and we will get back to you.
