Isthmian culture

Isthmian culture refers to the pre-Columbian cultures of the Isthmus of Panama and the surrounding region, including present-day Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. These cultures, which existed from around 500 B.C.E. to 950 C.E., are known for their distinctive art, particularly their metalwork, and their unique social structures.
